Until recently we have experienced huge increased values in our properties -- in Orange County sometimes as much as 34% per year. For now, times have changed. It has been years since we have seen a true Buyers' Market; but now is the time to capitalize on lower purchase prices.
Buyers: If you intend to hold on to your properties for some time, it is not necessary for you to buy at the lowest point of the market. Inventory has declined significantly again and with that will come higher prices and the typical California trends begin anew.

Without a doubt, the most important aspect of home value is purchasing the property in the location that will give you the greatest perceived home value by appraisers and Buyer's alike. The second most important factor is when a Buyer or appraiser walks into a home and they see upgrades or remodeling of kitchens, bathrooms and fireplaces the value of the home increases instantly.
